A dead Cat Goddess?

since i got my kitten, i've been drawing a lot of cats, most of which are not worth uploading.

this is sortof loosly based on Bast as portrayed in Neil Gaiman's The Sandman, vol. 7 Brief Lives . i looked forever for a picture of her online and finally gave up and scanned my own.

anyway, like i said, loosely based. she looks dead in mine with the ribcage and the boney-bloodiness and whatnot. but she's definitely one of my fave characters, even if she's only in, like, two issues.

thought about a background, came up with nothing. sorry is so blank.
